Ryan M. Hicks
Ryan Maurice Hicks is an Associate Attorney at the Fay Law Group. Ryan received his Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government and African American Studies from the University of Virginia. He is admitted in the State of New York and a member of the New York State Bar Association and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated.
Ryan has a background in litigation, appearing for clients in courts throughout New York City for issues related to commercial litigation, labor & employment and housing law. He built a reputation with the firm’s clients of being reliable, thoughtful and professional, without discrimination. He successfully led settlement negotiations, conducted discovery, and filed pleadings and motions representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Most recently Ryan volunteered with the New York State Bar Association’s COVID-19 Pro Bono Network to ensure clients received unemployment insurance in response to the pandemic.
Ryan couples this array of experiences with his prior background in customer service to provide attention to detail, dedicated and personalized care, cultivated with an unyielding passion for client satisfaction.
Relationships
The Fay Law Group draws upon team relationships, some spanning more than three decades, some new in formation. Team-building allows us to continue to handle legal matters large and small, nationwide and local, and in both our primary and subspecialty practice areas. The core of our team is a group of lawyers, each with their own law business, who have committed to represent individuals, groups, organizations, and large and small businesses under the Fay Law Group umbrella. Team lawyers have between three and thirty years of legal experience. Our co-counsel relationships around the country allow us to continue to handle large-scale and complex litigation, including nationwide class action cases. We have strong co-counsel litigation on both coasts and in the heartland of the nation.
